Recovered Asset Performance Dashboards and Reporting Visualisation
A recovered asset dashboard course on designing KPIs and clear visual reports that show boards and the public how recovery work is performing.
Course overview
Boards, parliaments, donors and the public increasingly ask asset recovery institutions the same questions: how much has been recovered, how much has reached the treasury or victims, and what it cost. Long narrative reports and dense tables rarely answer them well. This recovered asset dashboard course teaches staff how to design performance indicators and visual reports that answer those questions at a glance and stand up to scrutiny.
The course starts with performance measurement: choosing indicators across the recovery chain, defining them precisely and setting targets that do not reward the wrong behaviour. Participants then learn principles of visual design, chart selection and layout, and apply them in Power BI to build dashboards for three audiences: senior management, the board and the public. Sessions on data governance ensure that every figure on a dashboard can be traced back to a source record. Examples draw on the kinds of figures published by asset recovery agencies and audit institutions in the region.
Participants leave with an indicator framework and a working dashboard prototype that can be adapted for internal management and public reporting.
