Corporate Governance and Ethical Leadership
An ethical leadership course on governance principles, integrity, ethical decision-making and building a culture of accountability.
Course overview
Trust in institutions depends on leaders who act with integrity and on governance systems that hold them to account. Scandals in the region, from procurement fraud to financial reporting failures, often began with small ethical compromises that went unchallenged. This ethical leadership course helps managers and leaders build integrity into their own decisions and into their organisations.
Participants learn the principles of corporate governance and how they connect to ethics, including accountability, transparency, fairness and responsibility. They explore ethical theories in practical terms, apply structured ethical decision-making to real dilemmas, and examine common integrity risks such as conflicts of interest, gifts, favouritism and pressure to manipulate results. The course then covers building an ethical culture: codes of conduct, leadership role modelling, speaking up and whistleblowing, ethics training and measuring culture. Case discussions draw on public and private sector experience in the region.
Participants leave able to lead with integrity and to strengthen the ethical culture and governance of their organisations.
