Executive Office Administration and Coordination for Executive Assistants
A 10-day executive assistant training course on managing an executive's office, diary, briefings, stakeholders and high-level coordination.
Course overview
Executive assistants and personal assistants to chief executives, principal secretaries, governors and directors do far more than manage diaries. They act as gatekeepers, coordinators, briefers and trusted advisers, often handling sensitive information under pressure. This executive assistant training develops the advanced skills the role demands.
The first week builds the core of the role: partnering with an executive, strategic diary and time management, managing the executive's inbox and correspondence, preparing briefing packs, organising board and executive meetings, and taking high-quality minutes. The second week develops the wider coordination role: stakeholder and VIP management, travel and official visits, protocol and etiquette, managing projects and events on the executive's behalf, confidentiality and discretion, handling pressure and difficult situations, and the assistant's own professional development and influence. Practical simulations recreate a busy executive office.
Participants leave able to run an executive office smoothly and to act as a trusted partner to senior leaders.
