Transformational Leadership Skills for Managers
Transformational leadership training for managers: inspire teams, coach people, drive change and build accountable, high-performing units.
Course overview
Transformational leadership is not reserved for chief executives. Middle managers and team leaders shape the daily experience of most staff and decide whether change actually happens. This transformational leadership training gives managers practical skills to inspire their teams, develop their people and lead improvement within their units, in a way that strengthens accountability rather than weakening it.
Participants learn the four elements of transformational leadership, namely inspiration, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation and role modelling, and assess their current style. They practise communicating a clear direction, coaching and developing team members, encouraging ideas and problem-solving, giving feedback and recognition, and leading change at team level. The course also connects leadership with governance in everyday terms: clear roles, transparent decisions, accountability for results and ethical behaviour. Role plays and peer coaching are used throughout, and each participant leaves with a team leadership plan.
Participants leave able to lead their teams in a more inspiring, developmental and accountable way.
